Jake & Josh Ehret
FIU '25
We are Jake and Josh Ehret, 21-year-old twin artists from Montpelier, Vermont. Ever since we were young, we have always been creating and striving to make a career out of being artists. We began our painting journey back in high school and from there, we started to get commissions for our work which we quickly realized we could keep doing this. We’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset, so incorporating our art in a business matter has really accelerated us. We began getting requests for all sorts of things ranging from tiny paintings on shoes, to canvases of portraits, murals, to even painting a 20-foot box truck. Our inspirations come from a variety of contemporary and street artists that work with painting and sculpture, including Daniel Arsham, Kaws, Mr. Brainwash, and Damien Hirst. Today, our primary focus has been exploring a new scribble style while currently working on an NFT collection called ‘Scribbles.’ With this style, we hope to spread our artistic vision to the Miami community and push ourselves every day to see what new things we can create. With Earthy, we are excited to really be challenging ourselves, and pushing the limits to our art by working with materials that are unfamiliar to us, bringing life and excitement to ordinary objects.
Why did you join Earthy Art?
We hadn't really connected with other artists our age before, so we were curious to see what others were working on. We wanted to join to meet new people, collaborate with people, and to share our art with others.
