I love being able to explore my creativity and am always looking for ways to blend together different mediums to create something unique. Art has always been a way for me to connect with others as well as a way for me to escape and take time for myself. I love the way doing art gives me the power to communicate what is important to me while also allowing me to take risks. I've grown up crafting, painting, and designing - I find myself with so much freedom to innovate by creating art, especially alongside others. Overall, I do art to embrace my creativity and love to see the different ways in which my work may may be interpreted by audiences.
Why did you join Earthy Art?
To find an artistic community to bond over and create art with is something that I strive to be a part of. I have always developed such strong bonds from art classes and programs in the past - each one contributing to my growth as an artist. I love that these friendships can be filled with not only support and guidance, but also with fun. Further, I really loved the idea of being part of a community where I can embrace my artistic side as a contrast to my life at school where I will be focusing on more STEM-related courses. The community at Earthy NYC allowed me to develop bonds with artists who I can learn from and build meaningful, lasting relationships with.
