Rachel Jordan

Inspiration comes from a lot of different things, places, and experiences. Why do I choose to spend my time making art? I love to express myself, but a lot of the time I feel as if it is hard to express exactly what I am feeling, or how I can explain myself in a way that would make sense to others. But I take that energy a lot of the time and put it into what I wear or what I paint, and even what I play. Art is anything we make it. It relaxes and makes me feel better about life in ways that my brain sometimes can't comprehend. I also want to make a change as a female artist, not sure what that journey entails or how I would accomplish that but it's a huge part of why I create art. 

Why did you join Earthy Art?

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. While painting has been my main source of art along with piano, and the fashion world. Art is more than something to do, it is my passion and hobby, and want to be part of a community where I can support other artists, as well as receive the same energy back. If I can even make a little difference in the art community in some way that would be a game changer. I know I am not the best artist out there and I definitely do not claim to be, I believe that art should be protected at all costs, and valued by as many people as possible.
