The world and my immediate environment inspire me to create. Art lets me communicate my emotions in a productive way, and helps me overcome challenges without being overcome. Something that excites me about creating art, which I look forward to exploring more in the near future, is the impact my art can make in the broader sense of the world. I believe art speaks to people uniquely and can help them interpret their feelings about a passion, a social cause, the environment, etc. It can encourage someone to explore feelings, and  help motivate, heal, compel, and drive an important message. This possibility inspires me to create as much as I can. I am honing my skills in preparation for when ideas spark larger, more impactful pieces. Art makes me happy, it's as simple as that.

Why did you join Earthy Art?

As a freshman in the Fine Arts Program at FIT, I was interested in joining Earthy to expand the reach of my art within a creative community of like-minded individuals. Earthy’s social activities combined with its mentorship and guidance could foster a space for me to focus on creating more sustainable art – a main focus of Earthy – and an area of interest for me personally. 

I am interested in joining the community that Earthy creates and believe that surrounding myself with like-minded artistic creators and fostering friendships within that community will be inspiring and have a positive impact overall. Most exciting to me is the exposure and publicity that Earthy provides. I would like to share my art along with the meaning behind it, and I believe Earthy can help me do that. 

It has always been an ultimate goal of mine to inspire people with my art. I find it so incredible that art can impact social causes and drive breakthroughs not only in oneself but also in society. Art can begin movements. The more exposure my art gets, the more I can move forward in inspiring others.
