I make art because I find it very gratifying to be able to materialize the abstract thoughts in my head. The creative process is very enjoyable to me no matter what medium I am working in. With knits I enjoy creating a visually stimulating blend of colors as a wearable piece of art. In sewn garments I enjoy finding an intersection between form and function. Lastly with more traditional paintings and drawings I can pull from my everyday thoughts and experiences to create a piece that means something to me. I am constantly being inspired by the people around me, nature, movies, social media, and just about everything.

Why did you join Earthy Art?

My main reason for joining is to be in an artistic community and make friendships with the people in Earthy Art. It seems like a special opportunity to bring together young artists and validate their art by taking it seriously and hosting auctions and parties, with art as the focus.
