Ben Sperber

Hi! My name is Ben and I’m from Denver, Colorado. I’m currently a sophomore at Duke planning to major in sociology and visual art. Art has always been a huge part of my life, I went to an arts high school and got the ability to work on my art for 3+ hours a day! Since then, I have been honing my practice and focusing primarily in graphite realism, embroidery, and textiles. I love creating surreal imagery and exploring the intersection between humanity and nature and how these are impacted by consumer society. I’m so excited to exhibit my work with Earthy Creations and meet some awesome other artists! When I’m not doing art, you can find me knitting, drinking coffee, and staring at the sky.
